Medz Web Services is a one-person web studio based in Whareora, Whangārei, New Zealand. It is run by Robert Perham.

This privacy policy explains what personal information I collect, why I collect it, how I use it, and what rights you have.

I may collect personal information when you send an enquiry, call or message me, become a client, send website content or project instructions, or visit this website.

2. Why I collect it

I collect personal information so I can reply to enquiries, understand your project, provide quotes and proposals, design and support websites, keep project and client records, send invoices, improve this website, and meet legal, tax, and business recordkeeping obligations.

3. Contact forms

This website uses a Netlify contact form. When you submit the form, your details may be processed and stored by Netlify and sent to me by email.

Please do not send passwords, private customer data, sensitive personal information, or anything confidential through the public contact form. If I need secure access for a project, I will arrange a safer way to receive it.

4. Website analytics

This website may use Netlify Web Analytics and Google Analytics to understand traffic and improve the website. Analytics may collect technical and usage information such as page views, traffic source, approximate location, device type, browser type, and interaction data.

5. Who I may share information with

I do not sell personal information. I may share information only where reasonably needed to run the business or deliver a project, including with Netlify, Google, GitHub, domain registrars or DNS providers, payment or invoicing providers, advisers, or another technical provider if a project requires it and you agree. I may also disclose information if required by law.

6. How I store and protect information

I store business and project information using cloud services and local business records. I take reasonable steps to keep information safe, including using account security, limiting access, and only keeping information for legitimate business purposes.

7. How long I keep information

I keep enquiry records only as long as needed to respond and manage follow-up. If you become a client, I may keep project, invoice, and business records for as long as needed for support, legal, tax, and recordkeeping purposes.

8. Marketing messages

If I send marketing or newsletter emails in future, I will only do so where I have consent or another lawful basis to contact you. Commercial emails will identify Medz Web Services and include a way to unsubscribe.

9. Accessing or correcting your information

You can ask me for a copy of personal information I hold about you, or ask me to correct it if it is wrong. To do that, contact me through the website form or by phone.
